Flagship product  /  Federal Mission Change Intelligence

When infrastructure changes, understand what’s at risk.

TZUR Impact helps federal security teams and technology partners trace configuration changes through dependent systems, mapped security controls, mission relationships, and accountable owners—giving human reviewers a chain of evidence they can inspect and challenge.

Working synthetic evaluation product · People authorize. The product does not.

Conceptual infrastructure / Higgsfield

One change. Connected consequences.
Illustration — not live system data.

01  /  The problem

A configuration changed. Which mission needs attention?

A security event tells you that something changed. On its own it does not identify the downstream systems that depend on the changed resource, the people accountable for them, or the authorization assumptions that may now need another look.

That context usually lives in separate places: asset inventories, system records, ownership lists and authorization evidence. Connecting them by hand is slow, and the connection is rarely written down.

TZUR Impact’s job is to make that connection explicit, with the source evidence attached, so a human reviewer can decide what the change actually means.

02  /  A worked example

The rule changed. What needs another look?

Synthetic scenario · supplied relationships · not live data

In this synthetic example, a security group broadens HTTPS access. The change is visible in the supplied configuration. Its mission context comes from the supplied dependency model.

Before → after

A wider source range.

Baseline443/tcp · 10.20.0.0/16
Changed state443/tcp · 0.0.0.0/0

The source range expands from a restricted application network to any address. Other routes and controls still determine actual reachability.

Dependency path

A service to investigate.

  • Security group sg-001changed resource
  • Benefits APIdependent resource
  • Benefits Processingsystem
  • Citizen benefits deliverymission

Mapped owner: Benefits System Owner. A second supplied path reaches Claims Analytics. Missing owner or authorization mappings stay visible instead of being inferred.

Review question

Does the boundary assumption still hold?

SC-7 Boundary Protection review evidence previously described a restricted source range. The reviewer inspects the changed evidence and the owner mapping before deciding what follows.

Actual reachability, compensating controls and authorization-boundary implications still require human validation.

This flags a need to investigate. It does not prove an outage, a breach, internet reachability or a compliance violation.

03  /  How TZUR supports review

Map. Compare. Explain. Review.

Map

Connect the changed resource.

Resource → system → mission → owner → authorization record, following supplied relationships. Missing mappings are surfaced, not borrowed from a neighbouring system.

Compare

Baseline against change.

Before-and-after configuration side by side, with mapped controls that may need renewed attention. The comparison does not assess control effectiveness.

Explain

Keep the source attached.

Every finding links to its source evidence and the explicit mapping that produced it, so the chain can be inspected and challenged.

Review

People decide.

Reviewers validate the chain, record gaps and disputes, and decide the response. Authorization authority stays with qualified personnel.

04  /  The product experience

Now follow the evidence.

The public workspace runs the synthetic scenario end to end: select a relationship, compare the baseline, run the analysis and download the explanation.

  • 01Select a node in the supplied network model and inspect the relationship.
  • 02Compare the baseline and changed state of the security-group rule.
  • 03Run the deterministic change analysis. No language model generates the result.
  • 04Download the evidence pack: review brief, action register and full JSON.

05  /  Security approach

A defined processing boundary. A human decision.

Synthetic data only

The public workspace uses synthetic evaluation data. Supplied AWS Config JSON is analysed as a file; it does not establish a live connection to AWS, and no credentials, collector or write capability is included.

What we do not ask for

Do not submit CUI, classified data, credentials or sensitive operational configurations. A customer-specific evaluation defines its own data-handling boundary before any file is shared.

What runs today

Deterministic rules follow the supplied dependencies and compare evidence. Results depend on the completeness and accuracy of the supplied data and mappings.

What stays with your reviewers

Deciding whether a change is significant, whether authorization records need updating and what action follows. TZUR has no FedRAMP authorization, agency ATO or independent security certification.

06  /  Evaluation

One system. One change class. A measurable review.

A proposed scoped evaluation starts small: one system, one change class (for example, security-group changes), agreed data boundaries, and documented success criteria written down before the first file is shared.

Opens an email to hello@llcreativityllc.com, subject TZUR Impact Evaluation Inquiry. Please include your organization, role, intended change-review workflow and proposed scope. Do not email sensitive data, credentials, CUI or classified information.

What a scoped evaluation agrees on

  • The one system and the one change class in scope.
  • The data boundary: synthetic equivalents or read-only exports, and what never leaves your environment.
  • Success criteria: can the team trace the change to the expected systems, owners and review questions?
  • Where additional mappings or evidence are needed before results are useful.
